Obrigado, Portugal!

Back in November, we decided to book a week long trip to Portugal and DAMN! was it a good decision! We managed to leave behind the bad weather and enter a warm and beautiful country. Although, through gritted teeth I will admit it did rained a little the first and second day [and I wasn't a pleased human]. However, we didn't let it put a damper on our trip!

We fell in love with the villages, the beaches, the shopping centres the people. The food was tasty [if a little expensive] and the views were beautiful. We were lucky enough to book a lovely 5 star spa & golf resort. Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa had its own golf course, tennis course, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna [which we spent most our time in], a restaurant and a bar [happy hour everyday!]. Although the location was a little off site in Algarve, Faro, the resort offered a free taxi to all the neighbouring villages and beaches which only added to the experience, not to mention their AMAZING continental breakfast buffet every morning to kick start the day.

I'm ashamed to say, the only word I managed to learn was 'obrigado' which translates to thank you. BUT we did already know a few words which we were pretty impressed by. Here's a few snaps from the trip!
